MIAMI ROADSTER SPORTS CAR
Done on the NA Miata, the Miami Roadster was a tongue-in-cheek nod to Miami Vice, taking styling cues from a replica of a Ferrari Daytona Spider. However, in this half pint version the shapes are more a caricatured version, rounder in nature than the original Ferrari and, of course, significantly smaller. The car was originally built to celebrate a Ferrari year at Monterey. Three were built - only 1 remains today.
Basic package of one-piece front body section, hood with prebonded inner structure (with all mounting hardware), preassembled headlight bucket assemblies (hinged, with mounted hardware and linkage), rear bumper cover (smooth), front side marker lenses and backup light, 4 chrome bumpers and 2 Daytona-like taillight inserts with circular lamps.
